If Dave Gahan and Jim Morrison had a love child. He was such a beautiful sweet soul!

His voice was a million instruments. He had no need to play an instrument.

This is so amazing and tragic.
Also, does anyone know the last song on the end credits? I don't think I've heard it.

What I can't understand is if his band mates knew he was stressed out like he was why didn't they say look we can do this another time knowing he had a lot going on in his personal life

I love music; particularly rock and roll , and everything that breathes life into it. Musicians are to me, otherworldly, and beyond fascinating. Because without them I can’t imagine what life itself would be about. It means just about everything to me. It’s been my salvation. So to understand what makes music, a song, will be something I never get enuf of. That said… after watching Mystify. It made me so disgusted and confused at the how dark and miserable the world can be that far too often the very thing that people sometimes take for granted ,whatever puts bounce in their step, or a smile on their face, or even melancholy. Gets tossed back at the artist(s) with such power to tear apart piece by piece the souls that gave us this thing , this “stuff” that comes out of their headphones, that seems ok to dehumanize in order to sell a paper, or get higher ratings. The complicated emotions that music gives us. Is destroyed by the same people who claim to care for from whom it came?? The fact it’s happened far , far too often , that many artists who start out so fresh and naive, end up dark, broken, jaded , or worse, leaves me feeling exactly the way this documentary did. It took someone so extraordinary and just ground him down til he was no more. My heart feels broken so I’m not sure how to articulate it, that other humans, or life, can keep doing this to those who bring such a gift. The soundtrack to our lives, each of a different composition Wrecked. I will never understand the sadness that seems to lead to the end of … well everything.

Even if known this band, but didn’t know the story of them very well and especially the story of the Michael’s life till now thanks to this movie. He was super handsome beautiful soul with a strong charisma but also very weak. He was completely different, no one man will be like him ever.

I just cannot understand, why this beautiful man is not here. Maybe it's selfish but, i want him here. No other artist has this hold on me still! I miss him so, to the point. I may need to seek help! Such a great rock star! I love you Michael still and i am mad that you didn't marry Michele, the love of your life and still is in my opinion. INXS! Thee best rock group of all time. I love Andrew and Jon, with their sexy selves still! MH, thank you sir! You rock star! Sexy baby of mind. Love you Michele too! MH rock girl, forever!

"Searchin" with the excerpts from Erin's diary is the MOST chlling and sad. OMG!!! Because we hadn't heard from her or Helena up until NOW. Paula engineered all that publicity from the get go!!! First so Helena would breakup with him and guess what….that's what happened. And she was always tipping off the press…..and lying to him about what was REALLY happening and Paula was isolating him. But the thing is he wouldn't hear a word against her ever. He was a fragile dude and she knew it PLUS she went along with all the drugs and the bizarre sexually stuff that wasn't a real secret. OH those pictures!! In a split second you say "I cannot take anymore it will ALWAYS be like this."

It is still tragically sad after 22 years. He was a kind and decent person, eaten alive by fame. My 20's were about working hard, then after work, dancing to INXS with friends. Part of my coming of age, as the band was too. So sorry for his family. Clearly, he loved them more than anything.
