Wish I could grow citrus but thats never gonna happen in the rainy old UK. Thats maybe why everyone is full of cold n flu. Working my way through my apple stash at the moment.

The reasons most people had failed in life is EXCUSE EXCUSE EXCUSE.If you are on the wrong highway things not working change directions.Growing fruits trees is like an investment that eventually pays off but some efforts required like water and nutrients. The height of our building is depended on how deep is foundation.Without foundation, the building may fall.Do our homeworks ALWAYS.

    I live in Friendswood TX
And that I, hardly water the trees is an absolutely lie! Trees need proper care, watering specially here in Houston, I lost 2 apple trees this past Feb, because of improper watering (was working offshore)
I can tell that some one has tended the soil in your backyard. The soil show a wonderful black color, instead of the crazy gumbo clay soil from Houston. So, please do not say you hardly do any maintenance on your fruit trees, is very misleading

Your papaya with a lot a flower on it, that is a male tree and you waste your space and time for growing it unless you just want to sniff on the smell of the flower only.

People search through youtube or google for instructional gardening videos or articles , it takes a very long time to grow certain fruit trees from seeds and even so you might not get the same variety .

“If I can do it here, you can do it anywhere“ Suuuure :p Have you ever travelled to Europe? And I don't mean Spain or Italy, but Germany, Norway, Iceland etc. Just as an example 😀

I live in Poland (Europe) and in the winter is snowing almost all the time so growing things is difficult here 🙁
