So pretty. I used to work at a florist and garden nursery so I know you’re pronouncing everything perfectly 😉. Also, the color of the hydrangeas are affected by the alkalinity or acidity of the soil with the exception of the white ones. Alkaline soil produces more pink flowers and acidic soil produces more blue flowers. A natural way to increase acidity would be to add coffee grounds.

Does the veggie garden get full sun at some time of the day? We had to move our raspberries away from the wall, it was too protected for them and they wanted full sun.

I really like the way your videography skills have developed. Don’t get me wrong, I used to love your hand held camera vlog style videos but now they’re more like glossy infomercials. Very visually and aesthetically pleasing. Nice 👍🏻

I love that you made a garden specifically so you can have fresh cut flowers. The purple rimmed dahlia 😍😍

I think by looking at the leaves of the plant from your friend it’s what I call “4 o’clocks”. They bloom after 4 in the evening and early in the morning. Mainly during the cooler parts of the day and close up during the heat of the day:) I have yellow, pink, and some that are half pink and half yellow. So pretty! And they spread so you can divide them into more areas.

My flower garden is actually maturing enough to cut from this year and it's been so fun! We have delphinums too but apparently they tend to only come back for a couple of years so we planted new ones this year. You might also like Foxglove and tall garden phlox, they're very pretty.

That is such a good idea to plant flowers for the sole purpose of cutting! We have an area for vegetable gardening that is way too big. I think I may add flowers next year so we can bring them indoors!
