Jake, love all of the fruit trees and plants you have in your yard. I love all the different types of papaya you have there. Did you know you can use green papaya to make salad or cook with. We Asian love green papaya, they're so versatile. You can use it for soup and pickle them as well. Look up Thai or Eastern Asian recipes and you'll find many recipes for green papaya.

You need to hand pollinate your atemoya flowers otherwise you might only get a handful

I dig your videos and everything, but find it very weird that you call all your fruit trees he/him when I always think of fruiting trees as obviously female, or more often hermaphrodite, but clearly not purely male if they produce fruit

great tours! I like the brief info on each tree. What is the large weeping tree in the backyard? I watched to find out and it wasn't covered!

Jake what an amazing ZOO of edible plants! I really wish to grow my whole backyard/frontyard of food in the future 🙂 I have an important question: how do you deal with insects that lay maggots into your fruit? We had a peach tree that had a few fruits but then when I opened 2 of them, there were maggots so I didn't dare to eat them 🙁 Also.. HOW DO I OVER COME MY INTENSE FEAR OF WORMS/MAGGOTS/CATERPILLARS?! I don't care for spiders or other insects as I'm from Australia but squishy things are turning me off from gardening and I hate that it's holding me back 🙁 🙁 I would love some advice.

Also I learnt so much from watching the tour. Liked the tip on growing fruit plants that will establish quickly before the more finicky fruit plants.

Jake, instead of putting your mom cremate ashes in the fruit tree, why don't you put in the flower?? Plants the flower she love in your garden and put the ash in the flower tree so u dont have to eat it instead enjoy the flower. Also do you need the pump for the koi fish?? Its that the oxygen pump?? Cause i plan to get a koi fish for my garden and i dont know anything about it.

Thanks for sharing all your experiences and beauty! With all that mulch, have you ever had problem with ants?
Some day have your yard shown from above by a drone so we can have a better perspective of how it is set. Cheers from Curitiba, Brazil!
