Place crushed egg shells around the plants slugs can not cross over them.

Absence salts around the base of your plants will help deter slugs

I had a beautiful property, I used to crush up some egg shell not into dust just break them up like when you peel a boiled egg. It did help slow the bugs down. My chickens love to forage and didn't eat as much food as ducts did. I am just about to plant a plum tree , you have my fave variety . Love the Ducks xoxoxox yumm plums
