Here's my problem–maybe you have some thoughts.
Last year 2016 just at the beginning of winter, I pruned my nectarine trees.
I tried to follow an example from "YouTube" and i think I may have cut them back way too much, since, in spring 2017, I have two bare trees now. Got a few leaves for a couple of weeks, but they soon died. And this from two trees that produced fruit the first year I planted! Now one tree is sprouting branches from ground level–and pretty soon they will be as tall as the bare tree.
Question: Do you think I may have cut them back too far in 2016?
