We're one week from Memorial Day, and it's supposed to get down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit tonight.  We're frantic to save our young and sapling apple trees.  Thanks for the advice.

Someone needs to inform mother nature that the winter clock has ended….We've had some really cool mornings down here in south central Texas…Nothing near frost level though….

I agree with your thoughts on the weird climate in the past years this year again is looking odd I listened to the weather man last night and we could see low to mid 60's for the next couple weeks and that will get my trees going I'm afraid. How did the burlap do compared to the weed blocker?

What area do you live in? I live near sonora, california and it freezes here. I lost my lemon trees due to freezing weather. I'm not sure what other fruit trees will die if not covered in freezing weather?

Wow I thought that the weird weather was only here. We have been having major flooding. It's been raining for 3 weeks. Thank God that I live in a high area. I hope your plants survive.

Good luck with the frost! The weather is definitely nuts. It hasn't fully warmed yet and we're in the middle of May!

We don't get frost, but here where I live we get high, cold winds at night, so I have to move all the containers down to the patio floor and make a tent to cover them with. Fortunately I have a wonderful windbreak I hope you don't have any more cold weather! Short growing seasons suck.

I feel your pain… It just snowed here (Just north of Holland, MI)… brief, but still. Was going to put some tomato plants out this weekend, but I guess I'll wait.
