Beautiful harvest! I'm looking forward to seeing how your sweet potato bag experiment works out! I've tried to grow them in the ground in the past, I'm in Maryland, U.S.A. where summers are hot and humid, and haven't had any luck.

Sweet potato leaves are edible and where stem touches ground and roots will grow more sweet potatoes.

What a bountiful harvest. Those raspberries looked delicious. Will be interested to see if you get many sweet potatoes in a bag. Take care. Nick

Angela, what a fantastic basket of produce, very much similar to what I brought home yesterday, well today's roast, apart from the Lamb and Gravy were all from the plot yesterday, and indeed homegrown tastes better… Love the flowers even though I've none on my plot… Will struggle to get down mine now for three weeks as start my jury service tomorrow… I can see the weeds now !!! Xxxx

We're trying a couple of sweet potatoes this year. The variety is "Evangaline" bought from RHS Harlow Carr. They're in the greenhouse at the moment waiting to be transferred into their final containers. I might pinch your idea of using a couple of compost bags. Like the flowers. Sue sowed cornflowers last autumn and they seem to have been in flower for weeks. Great to be harvesting fresh veg isn't it. Might have to try some new potatoes this week!

The Beauregard sweet potato comes from the US southern state of Louisiana so it would be pronounced bow ree gard or bow ruh gard while others might say bore ruh gard. Great harvest! I enjoy your videos quite a bit.
