What kind of soil is appropriate? My grandmother-in-law has shade and sandy type soil in NY. I believe the soil must be pretty acidic because of a nearby cedar tree.

I am always looking for a perennial that will grow in the shade at our place in the mountains. Thanks for the tip, my friend.

Too bad I don't have any shady spots for these. I purchase the red currants at our local farmer's market. Thank you again for an excellent video.

I would love to have pigs but they do get HUGE and one of them would no doubt roll over on me and that would be the end of Ray.

I don't know how I missed currants when I was looking into what edible perennials to grow. This is a great one! Thanks! And thanks for mentioning my channel too!
