Question: You always refer to Phoenix, does it change drastically for other cities in AZ? I'm planning on moving to Sierra Vista. Can I grow Maringas and Date Palms there as well?

What is your one neighbor just cranking away on and that will never start?!? Awesome videos man. I am vegan as well and love Permaculture and the self reliance of growing my own food. Hope to have some land of my own soon and will expand my current small, but productive, garden into a full on food forest.

There is no soil deficient in minerals or nutrients. What's missing is the microbiological activity. That converts the minerals to plant food. Dr Elaine Ingham explains this better. Spending all this money is not needed.

I started with compost and topsoil. I then added sand and peat moss. Much better.

Was someone painting or attempting to start a diesel?

Courtesy of High Pressure. That is why Phoenix is so nice in January. It isn't good in August.

I think it's bullcrap, that the courts continue to discriminate against men. The courts always give the x-wife everything in a divorce. Why? Because the law is unfairly prejudiced against men. This video is the perfect example. The garden exists solely because of Jake. Men, get a prenuptial agreement. Don't kneel when you propose. Trust me, you'll be kneeling when she divorces you. Don't buy her a diamond engagement ring. Let her get you one. Hey! Equal rights! Even if she cheats on you, she still gets everything. I've seen it time and time again. I know that's not the case for Jake….He wanted to move on, and yes, his next garden will be even better. Anywho, yet another friend of mine just got divorced. She got the kids, alimony, the house, half his retirement…she even got his dog. No, she didn't work. What did he get? He got thrown out of the house, and he gets to watch his x-wife parade her new boyfriends in the house he built. One of them walks around in his underwear in front of his daughter. She even kept his dog! I look forward to the back lash. GET A PRENUP. It's time.

Didn't you move from this house to live with your gal Nicole ? Look forward to seeing what sort of mischief you get into gardening wise this coming year.

Look up how much peat moss is naturally produced in Canada vs. how much is harvested; peat moss in its current state is sustainable. If you look at the cation exchange capacity of coco coir and peat moss, you will see that each is not a substitute for one another. In my opinion, if you do choose to omit peat moss, you should just add more compost or earthworm castings ( both have a much higher CEC than coir and peat moss). If you are concerned with aeration, add scoria (crushed lava rock).

Jake I’m in Las Vegas and my lemon tree is suffering. Not sure if it’s from over watering. I’m thinking about ignoring it for a month. I bought it last year in a 15 gallon container and planted it with fresh compost and put 4” of wood chips around it. Pruned it back and the leaves are yellow and wilting. Your thoughts? Oh yeah I added worm casting and mychroriza
