I love this loose watercolouring! Trying to work up to trying it myself, but whatever I touch in watercolor makes a mess! 🙂

Loved your loose method with the watercolors. I've wanted to try it but was very hesitate. You've inspired me to give it a shot. Of course mine won't turn out like yours……after all you have the talent. Also let me take a minute to let you know I loved your bird bunnies you recently did. Loved the colors and todays flowers were just as awesome.

I didn't like where this card was going at the start but I love the end effect! proves what you said – let it do its thing, keep working on it and you might be surprised at the end! :-)

I enjoy watching this video so much, I have watched it 6 times!  The colors, the loose technique with watercolors, the splatters and then the fine finish with the picket fence and the green gingham ribbon are so beautiful!

I have to tell you that I have used your idea to stamp the main image inside in a lighter ink over the sentiment and it just brings everything together … Thanks for the idea

You know, I just need to loosen up and try this!  Amy, this is beautiful.  I love the watercoloring and how free you were with it!  Enjoyed the way the colors flow out and into one another.  Guess I won't know if I can do it until I try…..like put on some really good music and go for it!!!!!!

I cannot even tell you how much I love this card! Every single thing about it — flowers (one of my favorite images), the colors, the artsy "messiness" of the watercolors, the little white picket fence, the gingham ribbon . . . This card will certainly be an inspiration for me!

Love it Amy! I certainly struggle with ' Lowe's water coloring, because I sit and stare at it until I drive myself nuts 😉 Then I go back to having to stay within the lines 😉 So certainly something I want to work on as well. Thanks so much!!!

The flag is made using May Arts red suede string – and for our American ribbon fans, check out the video to learn an easy way to make the right number of stripes in the flag! Thanks, Sandy, for this neat challenge. My card doesn t use patriotic colors, but it was fun to make. I love the way you used the red suede ribbon on yours, and how you helped us know how many red stripes the US flag has. Thanks!
