Hi Rachel, sorry I am so late in watching this video, but I have to admit, when I get into one of those orchid shopping frenzy I can count on you. That is because I can make my shopping list from your most amazing orchids. You always have something new and interesting.

Beautiful collection of orchids, as always. It's no secret, that I just adore the Latouria Dendrobiums. They seem to be in spike or flowering all the time. Absolut gems. And my Encyclia mariae (that's the name, when I bought it) is just about to spike, too.
I managed to get hold of another wonderful Latouria Dendrobium: D. hodgkinsonii, it was a gift from a good friend, and it's just as good a bloomer as the rest of them. I got it in late March – in full bloom – and now, several months and a repot later, it's still blooming. I love it.

I am enamored of the Lutin Blanc so much so that I am getting a Beallara Pacific Pastel Massive that kind of looks like the Lutin Blanc . Yes, it gave you a lot more flowers the last time it was in bloom . I like Iwanagaraa Apple blossom. I have a small one that gave me two flowers this year . Hopefully, I'll have more next time. Thank you for sharing & happy growing.

Beautiful! Especially love the Euchile Mariae, which I discovered actually grows in the forests if North Western Mexico! Here it is growing in the wild https://www.flickr.com/photos/johnsonbridgwater/2068892638/

My citrata just keeled over (lost the growing tip) but it's started a new plantlet and I can see some new root growth, but it's now many years from blooming – still don't really know what happened – the other Aerangis are doing fine? If I ever see 'The Gypsy' I hope no-one gets in my way! I hope the 'special tree' in the garden is serving it's purpose – you know what I mean – take care.

Rachel I have read that the c. Mariea needs a dry winter rest. Can you tell me a little about her culture? Do you give her a rest? Thank you for your beautiful videos.

Do these mini phals bloom sequentially? One (my first) dropped its last flower soon after I acquired it, but hasn't begun aborting the spike like I expected. Instead, it has stayed green at the tip and begun a secondary spike, all while growing two new leaves.

    Svetlana Just nice orchids
