    Very coincidental, as I just found a packet of JJUPS in all my "stuff". Just didn't feel like sowing in trays and sprinkled them into a garden strip with some pansies. Covered them very lightly. It will be interesting to see if anything happens with them here in zone 7.

    I did something similar to what you did except I started mine outside in a shady area (in seed cells) and covered them with a black tray until they germinated. I planted them in the garden, they bloomed all winter with no protection is zone 6 and they are blooming like crazy right now. I think they must be good at reseeding because my grandma had a patch of them for years and I know she wasn't sowing seeds every year. I am hoping that mine do the same.
