Hi, I am based in Bangalore India, and have subscribed to your channel some months ago. Very much appreciate your no-nonsense, factual manner of providing information. I saw this video on fruit tree planting only now, as I was doing a search on planting fruits in my garden. i wanted to get some tips on planting fruits, but am not sure if you would even register this poist, since the original video is almost 4 years old. If you do see this, please do reply, so that I can post my question. Thanks!

How many times a day we should water lemon and fruit trees? Especially in summer where it reaches 122°
And how often are we supposed to fertilize?

You mention to spray with mineral oil but don't mention why. I've never heard of this and wondering what mineral oil can do prior to planting. Thank you for your video. 🙂

How frequently do you water these plants? I planted a lemon and orange tree and some of the leaves seem to be turning yellow. I used to water thrice every week for about 10 minutes before switching the timer to water everyday hoping that solves the problem.

Those hard roots at the base of the trunk need to remain slightly above the dirt just like they were in the container.

I have been searching everywhere and cant seem to find a solid answer. After you plant your tree thats this same size, when can you start eating the fruits. I am growing a key lime tree which at the moment I have the seeds germinating but I am not sure when I can eat the limes. Good video

I just subscribed! I was wondering if you have any advice on Cara Cara orange trees and planting. Would they be better in a container or in the ground? And what should I do to keep the tree healthy if I decide to keep it in a container? Thank you!

    Super video 👍👍

I have an Eureka Lemon tree and also wanted to buy a Meyer lemon tree later on. I will like to know if you have any advise to grow Lemon Trees in Containers / Pot ?! I don't have the space to put it in ground so i decided to just change the initial container for a way bigger one.

I have a Meyer lemon tree and since its winter I brought it into our 4 season room ,Now over the last month it has been dropping its leaves speedly ,so I put a 1/2 inch pc.of a fruit tree spike last week down into the soil for fertilizer hoping it would help. Still leaves are dropping. The tree has a lot of empty branches what does this mean, and will it die on me? There are 5 nice sz. lemons (green ones) on the tree. I will sprinkle some epsom salts around base of tree if that would help. We have no place local now to but any acidic fertilizer. Could you advise me please.I dont want to loose the Myers tree I have babied for a yr. now And thank you.V Mcquiston

Your new tree looks great! I'll bet it's doubled in size this year. I planted a Meyer Lemon last year in a whiskey barrel because in zone 8b it is better to protect it while it is still young. By a stroke of bad luck, my dogs were frolicking, doing doggy things, and broke the stem off the tree, very low to the base. It was very woody, perhaps dry. Since, the plant has regrown about 4 feet high. I need to prune it. I am unsure what fruit it will yield. It may have been broken below the graft. I haven't dug down below the mulch to investigate. The thorns are larger than I remember the original plant having, so perhaps it is only suckers growing now.

What if you want to start a lemon tree by planting a seed, and not by pre-planted tree? Is it recommended that you start it off potted?

Thank u so much for taking the time to make this informative video. I have a lemon tree but sadly I haven't paid much attention to it. It doesn't produce many lemons. Can u give me advice on how to feed it properly so that it in return can give out some lemons. It's about 4-5 years old.
