I like to grow smaller vegetables as a way to introduce kids to trying something new. For whatever reason they like cute vegetables better.

The Dragon's Egg grew fantastically well for me, and they are so delicious! I even planted a couple more late in the season and they're still producing. Probably not much longer here in zone 7, but me and my Beagle are loving them while we have them! Next year I'm hoping to have a cattle panel trellis, too. I used the string method this time, and things just got too heavy for the jute.
Great video! I love finding other adventurous growers like me who try the wacky varieties. Such fun!

So the dragon egg looks like a cross between a lemon cucumber and something else.

Hello guys. Love your content and I follow as well in FB. Could you make a video about shallots? I know they are from the onion family, but will love to see what type you are able to find and grow.
