    Hey,
I just found your YouTube channel, I found your link on the Bonnie Plants website, trying to learn to build a 4×4 garden bed and I really like your design.

    Thank you very much,

The other youtube videos I've watched, they seem to assume you know some of the steps. I don't, that's why I'm watching the video. She explains everything step by step. Plus she's lovely. I am now a fan.

Great advice on the 8 inch high beds. I tried 4 inches (saving money) and had major problems with weeds. I tried again this year with 8 inch raised beds and the weeds have been no issue at all. Have you or anyone else had the same experience. My weed work is maybe 5 to 10 minutes for 12 raised beds.

But a friend of my introduced me to this program  [Details Here==https://plus.google.com/u/1/110086446704524205338/posts/HrzGjo6aFKc ]  and I must say, they are the best. Kudos to them big time. I am glad to see you pre-drill. Other videos I have watched and they don't pre-drill. It causes the wood to split. I am happy to see a woman that knows how to use tools. And you are pretty too. Your husband is a lucky man.

Anyone have an idea how I can convert this to be used on a concrete patio? Maybe create a bottom and attach wheels for mobility. I love gardening but I am confined to an apartment for the next few months. Thanks for the help.

Hi Vanessa! THis is a great DIY, thanks for posting it. I am going to be building a raised bed in my driveway and was wondering how it is possible to increase the height to 10-12". Do you just make 2 boxes and then use a longer corner piece to drill into the 2 wood pieces?

U don't need to "pulse" the drill. Use the adjustable chuck setting. It will work perfectly

I've been growing my stuff directly in the grown for years, but this year I am gonna try something different and follow this method this very week. One question though: How much top soil would it require to fill something this size?

After you done with that, do you have to put something on the bottom such as landscape fabric to prevent weed & grass or just put the soil then plant the seeds?

Used fast food cooking oil on your boards makes longer lasting…u can even soak them in it in some plastic sheeting formed into a long bath…the oil is free.
