Thank you for sharing your knowledge of zenias yours are lovely. This is my first time at growing zenias when I was a little girl back in the 70"s my neighbor an older lady grew them all the time and I thought they were the most beautiful colorful flowers I've ever seen. I bought 3 boxes from the dollar store and it's late January here in Brooklyn Park Maryland can you please tell me about what month to plant the seeds ? I did read not til after the last frost .I was hoping to plant them at the end of February but I'am not sure if that's wise. I do very well at gardening of other flowers every year and I do hope I do well with these and they look as beautiful as yours .Thank you for this great video and God bless 🌺🌸🌷🌾

I just got my Zinnias growing several weeks back and man are they so satisfying! Quick germination, quick height. I'm glad I started several varieties at the same time… like 80-90% germination on my green envy and scarlet, but only 10% of my violet ones. I may go back and re-watch the other video on pinching and propagation to see what height to start pinching.

I'm having some serious zinnia envy right now. My zinnias are still tiny. I also found some colours have better seedling vigorous than others. Yours look amazing! (I realize you're in a warmer zone and am hoping mine catch up!)

…. . . . and if you aren't harvesting zinnias for cut flowers you will still need to remove, aka deadhead, the spent flowers before they set seed or ongoing flower production will slow and gradually stop.
