    I’m Montagnard indigenous live in North Carolina , I love persimmon fruit it sweet, I just bought today at food lion also I love you tree fruit it’s beautiful .

    Just ordered two bare rot trees from Sutons at less than a fiver each.Can't go wrong at that price.

    good luck, I myself would not bother as I don't think the fruit is nice flavoured.

    So interesting to see Persimmon growing in the UK. Would be great to see them ripened in November.

    There are a number of these trees here in suffolk, and yes the fruit will ripen. I have a 2 year old tree in my garden, and am looking forward to my first crop!! The fuyu variety seems to be the best one to grow around here. Thanks for the upload. Chris

    Correction. It says it is entirely hardy in Holland. You would definitely not have a problem with that one at all. 😀

    I put that one on my wishlist as well, Dan! The hardier one you want is called Diospyros virginiana (the american persimmon) The fruits are a bit smaller . I encountered it in the catalogue i´m continuously browsing and it says i can grow it in Holland even, in a bit of a protected spot. Worth a try. Why not!
