    Hello, my tree is planted for 2 yrs now and tons of flowers every year. However, they never turn to fruit. What am I missing? Pollinators? I'm is southern California. Warm weather year round

    I grow Sapodilla unprotected in the open outdoors inside a pot with no problems from frost. It's in its forth year standing 1.5 metres tall. Last year it flowered but didn't fruit. I'm in the cooler part of Melbourne, near the foothills where we get regular frosts May to October. It has always come back from leaf tip damage. I'm hoping for fruit soon.

    If only grafting didn't take from the gene pool by weakening seeds for our descendants.
