A landscape garden can be more than just a garden. It can be on a smaller scale and more filled with “eye-catchers” like grottoes, temples, tea-houses, pavilions, sham ruins, bridges and statues, though the main ingredients of the landscape gardens in most of the world, are sweeps of gently rolling ground and water, against a woodland background with clumps of trees and outlier groves. You can also design your garden with shrubberies, tree plantations to satisfy botanical curiosity, and, most notably, the return of flowers, in skirts of sweeping planted beds. Most of the landscapers would add a pond or small lake with a pier or bridge while designing you landscape garden. Much like a park, if you consider having fun with gardening. Although, now in the 21 century, public park is the word used to describe a landscape garden.
