I'm in Tampa, Florida. I recently planted a passion fruit vine, a fig tree, a moringa tree and a tangerine tree. I dug up a plum tree and peach tree that I planted two years ago that didn't do anything. I have now nursed them back to health in the past 10 to 12 weeks. I'm convinced they didn't do well because I used composted cow manure when I planted them which burnt the roots and shocked the trees…

I've been watching your videos for a couple months. I'm learning and getting so inspired, I'm having my swimming pool taken out in a couple weeks so I can grow more plants in my tiny subdivision yard in north Phoenix. Thanks again for teaching and sharing your experiences!

Jake I think this is one of your best videos. Anyone just starting should really watch this & then one of you actually planting a tree, using your mix. Great tips and advice!

Every Monday you should give detailed information about specific tree qualities and create a playlist with the information. For example, you said that avocado likes indirect sunlight, more info would be great and individual videos on specific trees would make it easy to find

I am in Michigan and planted a couple peach trees and a pear tree about 3 years ago. Last year, my trees finally bore fruit but a squirrel ate all of the fruit off them before the fruit matured. Hopefully this year is different. I love watching your show. You are a great presenter.

Thanks, Jake. Another great video. I do want to point out as someone who is in a climate that often lacks heat that my trees would not do as well as yours planted that close together. They need more sun here, not less as in your area. But companion planting to trees — yes!

Hi jake. I am Sid from India. I am planning to start my own backyard garden. The climate here is sub-tropical (4-40 degree celsius). As per our suggestion, i was looking for some azomite, but it turns out azomite is not easy to get here. And it is expensive too. What are some other alternatives to azmoite that i may use?

Small patio garden with large patio pots…so we have figs (Kokoda and Mission), apples (Fuji and Anna + 2 grafted varieties on the Fuji – Johna Gold and McPherson?), Persimmon, Jujube, Loquat, Longan, Lychee, 2 peaches (one with 3 varieties of peach and 2 varieties of nectarin + 2 Pluot grafts), 4 Frederick passion fruits, a coconut cream mango (Shamus), a Fuerte Avocado + (Pinkerton graft for X pollination), Cherimoya with atemoya graft and 4 different cherimoya grafts…so trying to maximize variety in a small space…forgot the blueberries…

Hey Jake, I live in a small city, Frankston, in Victoria, Australia. I have been watching your videos for a few months now and you have inspired me to plant more fruit trees in my front yard. I have planted 2 cherry trees, a fig tree, an apricot tree and an almond tree, and I have a Jujube tree waiting to go in. I have just had a truck load of mulch delivered and only had to pay the delivery fee. So anyway I am in the process of putting down cardboard and spreading the mulch over the top in the front yard. Basically at this point, half the front yard will be a food forest with mulch. I will see how this goes and who knows, the whole front yard could end up like this. I also have a large veggie garden in the back yard. Thanks for your inspiration.

Sorry. I call BS. Show us a fruit tree you own that would be worth $1,000 in a pot.
