That was a wonderful walk through your gardens and I enjoyed hearing the birds too. You have an amazing variety of plants. I lost a coral bark Japanese maple due to the severe cold and my lacy leafed one has a lot of dead stuff this year. I've also got a very sad looking weeping cherry tree. Just too cold in the winters these past few years! Thanks for the tour Lark- it's always a pleasure to see your perennial gardens!

Lovely garden Lark. Thank you for the update. It looks so relaxing if I had a garden like that I'd put up a tent next to the hostas and listen to the birds for a week or two.

You know your garden tours brighten my day. I think I need to work on my bike tire this week.

I love all the blue in your garden. Love those vibrant poppies, too. Everything ties in so beautifully, Lark. Wonderful garden. Thanks for the walk through.

What a beautiful garden…and so peaceful with the birds chirping and singing.

You have such a nice mix of native and domesticated plants. And you've really used your wet areas well, with some unique plants. Nice tip about using the pallets to keep deer at bay, too!

Thanks for sharing your lovely garden. I will watch this more . I love that there is no traffic noise! All the sounds of the birds, the garden art and your voice.

Thanks for the tour, Lark! Your garden is looking so lovely. I really like your lupines.
I grow comfrey and borage for chop and drop, they add a lot of minerals to the soil. Also good medicinal herbs to have around, and the bees adore them.

I sure would love to see your veggie garden <3

Just lovely! I love the arch with the clematis. Also, perilla  is something I have been wanting to grow.

Beautiful walk Lark! You have so much information to learn from. I didn't know most of the flowers and plants you talked about, I guess they are native to your region.Do you need to actively take care of these plants or is the chop n drop enough? All of these come back each year?

I know I've said it before, but your garden has been such an inspiration to me and I've learned so much from you. Not to mention how longs my "want" list has gotten for my garden! Just added the blue flax and snow in summer!!
