They’ve done a fantastic job! I would keep the fence stained or neutral as painted fencing can date and fade or weather damage x

You have two very hard working men👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 question when you have pets and the wee on the artificial grass how do you keep it sanitary?

I really want to get this artificial grass in my garden , Iv for a dog too so was wondering how well the grass stands up against dog wee and 💩 ? As that concerns me that the dog may be able to ruin it . Also can you possibly let me know roughly how much this grass costs to get it all done and fitted please 😊😘 garden looks fab! Xxx

I feel so sad watching this. I live in a huge city and make do with pots on my window sill. what a huge loss for the sake of looks and convenience. imagine lying on plastic grass when it drizzles !

So excited to see the garden with all the bits you’ve brought for it!
The decking looks amazing and the grass really brought it all to life!
Amazing your dad and Ricky done all that, must’ve saved a lot of money!

Looks great, love the dog walking on the tiny path at the end of the video rather than the grass 🙈

The railings on the deck were a mistake. The bit down the side of the steps blocks access from the BBQ and also from the door around the side of the house. I would remove all railings and put some planter boxes along the edge of the deck with low hedging. Hope you’ve got a leaf blower/sucker with all the artificial grass. Good thing about real grass is you can mow all organic matter into the lawn and it fertilizes the grass. Good to see the kids happy out there. Just my 2 cents worth

It's OK, but I think you should have kept some of the trees/bushes, they bring character to a garden. Also would have been much better with real grass, what a shame.

Your garden looks lovely hun, your also putting in bedding plants that will bring bees etc and you have kept the tree so you have did a good job. Not everyone is a gardener..imo x

Why artificial grass? I would have thought grass would grow well in the UK.

This is the worst childhood memory ever. They won’t get dirty, they will not know what it is like to play in real grass. What were you thinking with artificial grass! What about the environmental impact!! If you did your research you would know that a tree will not survive with the base covered with decking, it might take 10 years but you will have to remove the tree. I can’t believe how narrow minded & selfish you were when planning your yard! BOO!

Beautiful. I see you have a couple of pets – how would you keep the smell of urine at bay? Obvs solid poos you,d pick up but having the natural earth would absorb the urine and smells but the artificial would'nt?

What you have done is take a nice garden that just needed a bit of tlc to bring it back, and you have destroyed it to the point where I could see only 2 living things in the whole space. People like you clearly only worry about image over substance, and good luck with all the extra surface water run off.

I'm in Australia and you don't see many yards with artificial grass here, well I have never seen one anyway. I'm just wondering how you go about cleaning up after the dogs and also how do you get rid of all the leaves etc off it? I notice a lot of ppl in the UK seem to get it in their gardens which I find unusual as I thought grass would grow well there as you get plenty of rain. xx

Nice work guys, my only concern is, by putting the grey “sand” down and wetting it, it has hardened off and now there is no where for any water to drain through 🤔

you covered both the bases of your trees and you put raised garden around the one, which will cause it to rot overtime you should never overbury the base of your tree as they breakdown, goodluck!

The transformation is insane. Such a wonderful family place. I'm not gone on artificial grass, it's a bit odd to have with animals and kids around and not the healthiest for the soil. I noticed that a lot of companies are pushing artificial grass at the moment. I don't get at all why that is. Maybe easier for them to produce? The plastic is cheap I guess. Is it recyclable? But the look of the whole garden is impressive. Mine is still a mess. We bought a house last year and my husband and father are the work horses.

Why do people assume it’s artificial? You can get grass laid like that that is real. And it doesn’t look artificial to me either
