Very nice work!  The grass/lawn looks great as well as the nice landscaping design for your trees.
I planted purple potatoes following Dr. Gregor's potato doctrine (lol) .  I don't know if I'll have a harvest of potatoes… but the plants did produce berries so If they successfully ripen I'll get true potato seeds, and then  I'll have permanent potato liberty.

What a lovely yard and garden you have made!
My yard is tiny but I have jammed 6 big raised beds into it. It is so fun to see what other people do with their gardens :)

I love the curved design of the beds and all the plants you added.  It really looks so beautiful.  Home grown is so much better in taste, nutrients and not having to eat pesticides.  All those wood chips will slowly break down into the soil and add nutrients for years to come.  Great job!!!  Please keep us updated, it looks awesome!!!

nice vid will. i don't make videos per se but i did put up a video on my channel yesterday of my veggie garden at the moment if you're interested in checking it out. it's 2 minutes long. i know i love looking at other people's veggie gardens. i've been a low fat, high carb vegan for 5 years and i grow nearly all of my own veggies all year round. mostly in winter i grow greens because we don't have unlimited water – so i grow the things which are the most expensive and hardest to get chemical free. anyways, you've got a huge yard to grow heaps of food – you lucky devil!!

How exciting, I hope to be able to start a garden myself someday :). Yours looks like it's coming along nicely. And sorry about poor Ben. It's so hard to lose a pet who's been by your side for years.

The maple for your doggie is such a lovely idea.  Cherries are tough in a northern climate, unless it's a less brutal micro-climate like we have up in the northwest of Michigan.  But you seem to know what you're doing, so I have high hopes for yours.  Of all of these fruit trees, I will say that even if you're on the fence about pears, home grown pears are 5,000% better than store bought, and will make you love them, so mind that tree!  The garden beds look so demure and cheerful; I hope they prosper and provide you and the missus with lots of tasty health giving plant foods.  Thanks for posting : )

Geat video Will, wonderful to see people growing their own food. Do you subscribe to one yard revolution? Patrick has turned his entire yard into a super food producing plot. Maybe if you haven`t seen his channel you might like to take a look. I`ve learnt so much from him in growing my own stuff.

For your beds, did you just add dirt and wood chips over the grass or did you dig it all out?
