Could dragon fruit be grown in part shaded area? I would like to grow some on the side of a shed that gets about 4-5 hrs. of sunlight a day. Thanks.

Hi II would like to ask if you know usually how long does es it take for a new shoot to sprout from a cutting? I received a cutting with roots and its almost a month, 3 more days before officially being a month, since planting it in the ground and no new growth. Is this normal?
