I have loved to read since I was old enough to understand what the words meant, LOL. I love westerns, my favorite author is Louis L'Amour, science fiction mostly by Anne McCaffrey, and her Dragonriders of Pern series. But also how to books on just about anything that interests me. I've got a few gardening books and some Organic Gardening books put out in the early 70's when they were 5" by 7" books instead of regular magazine size like today. Over the last 45 years I think i've bought, sold, lost, given away over 3000 books. I have 3 big bookshelves and i'm thinking of getting another one because i've about run out of book space again. Glad to hear your feeling better. I keep getting sick and ending up in the hospital. Hang in there and just take it 1 day a time.

I have some huge bleeding hearts on the side of my house, I just broke off a couple clumps this summer to take with me when we move.

I added three of them to my amazon list 🙂 There is nothing better than a good book and a cup of tea when it is cold and gloomy outside. Thank you for your suggestions!

Good morning, thank you. The two books I will want to look into reading is Remembered Gardens and the Sunflower Houses. I love to have the books in my hands too. Something about the feel and smell of the book. Unfortunately I am running out of room for my books. Time to part with some again to make room for new ones. 🙂
As always glad to hear from you. Sending you ((hugs)) love and continued prayers. ❤

I love a book called “ wheelbarrows, chooks & children a gardeners life by Margaret simons “ a was given to me by my husbands late grand mother. It tells a beautiful story of a family growing up in NSW Australia, and the mother struggles with children chickens and the elements of Australia harsh climate. It’s a beautiful read I’ve read it about three times now 🥰

Excited to look into theSunflower Houses book. I just planted teddy bear sunflowers with my grandson this summer and got blooms this week. Hes only 2 1/2 but he loves flowers and has to hug them like he does his stuffed animals or real ones. Its such a sweet thing to be a grandma and share the joy of teaching grandchildren about such important and valued things. I remember fondly walking around the farm with grandparents and all the flowrs they loved are such fond memories. Thanks for the reminder! God bless!

Thanks for sharing these books, I love to read. I will check my library to see if I can find them. My little garden partner granddaughter moved clear across the country, so I’d better not get the one for kids or I will cry all the way through it. I miss her working with me in the garden.

Thank you for visiting us. I am in Centralia, Wa and Summer has left us behind. It is raining and storming here also. I red mostly on my tablet due to hand issues but I love a hardcover book the best. I am now looking at seed catalogs for next spring. Much love to you.
