So How do you deal with excessive root bound? Would you repot to bigger pot or just leave it as it is?

You live in zone 9b? So do I ! Where did you get the lemon trees from? And what apple tree grows in our area? (in a container)

Do you bring your potted citrus trees indoors during inclement weather? We've had a Meyer lemon for 2 years now and recently gotten a key lime, both planted in containers and I worried about leaving them outside during our occasional freezing temps.

One problem in growing in containers is that in Summer the soil goes dry and the plants shed flowers and unripe fruit

My daughter just bought me my early Christmas present- a dwarf Compact Stella cherry tree. We planted it in a pot for the very reason that if I ever get to move, it's coming with me.
