I love planting my own garden of herbs. I do Basil, which I love. Rosemary, cilantro, parsley. I do a long bed, and make space between them. Cilantro can grow wild, so be careful not to add to many cilantro seeds at once. Same thing with rosemary.

Hi Zee, love your Channel and have enjoyed making several of your recipes. I have a 900 square foot vegetable garden in which I grow tomatoes zucchini yellow squash cucumbers Peppers eggplant green beans and melons. Unfortunately I'm skipping it this year because of some shoulder issues, but will get that fixed up in January and be ready for a 2019 Garden!

My wife and I just bought a house and first thing i told her was that i wanted to have a garden. Now, i know NOTHING about plants or gardening so I have alot of learning to do so this video is very much appreciated and any tips you want to share i am right here for it. I told my wife (who hates bugs especially mosquitos) that we will be planting some lavender (based on your comment about them being natural repellents). Love the tips please keep them coming.

I would love to see the progression of your garden. I’ve been wanting to start a garden myself, but like you, I’m a city girl, so a bit apprehensive about it.

You're a mind reader! I was literally telling my mother five minutes before I saw this that I want to grow Creole tomatoes, Vidalia onions and okra, then had a look of overwhelm as to where to start. Perfect timing and so thorough, as with all of your videos!

Good Job Zee , so if you like gardening so maybe next step gone be raising beds , 8 #4 , so you have some space on back yard and lawn looks good but tomatoes and more vegetables gonna be looking better. Im start from one bed now have 6 and want more. Be careful gardening is addicting:)

I grow various vegetables and all of the herbs. (Love my cilantro and pico de gallo). I record the progress of my garden on my channel. XOXO

I’m in palm coast Florida and it has not stopped raining yet. Alberta is on her way. I grow culantro parsley rosemary and spearmint which I have in a pot since it is so invasive. Why don’t you get some large pots and use good compost and soil and grow each herb separately. That is very inexpensive and might work for you. I had about 12 gandules plants and they all died from this harsh winter we had in Florida. Yes Florida got a trophy for participating in winter this year. Good luck with your herb garden would love to see the end results. Love your cooking by the way
