I’m just re watching your videos lol. Hope your doing well and are with good health! Just wondering if you start most of your plants from seed or do you just buy starts of grown plants? Just curious as I’m trying to fill my front and backyard but I have so much square footage to cover I’ll go broke before I’m done lol. This will help me decide which way I should go about. Thank you so much and can’t wait for new videos.

The Allen Home Garden Tour is a tour of gardens put on by the Allen Garden Club. This is a fund raiser for the Allen Garden club. This year, 5 gardens were on the tour and my garden was one of those on the tour. I am in the process of editing the video of this event, look for it in my channel in a few weeks.

Did you day you have Clematis? Does it very cold during winter or can everything survive?
Do you have tried Lavatera? One of my favorites. And Gaura? Looks like butterflies

Enjoy your gardening. I love your cabin and the fiireplace.
Must be fantastic to see deer that close. Even if they eat your hosta. But it beats having it eaten by snales haha.

Paula, great job for year one. I can't wait to see it in year 2, 3 and four. I bet the garden centers like to see you coming to buy all those new plants. I know what it's like, four years ago I started over with a brand-new home and garden. I use lots of perennials and took me three years to get nice compliments of plants. This year I'll be on the Allen home garden tour.

Your veg looks amazing and so does the rest of your property. I'm with you on the beets place in the flower garden. I also think coloured chard is amazing in a flower garden, even when it goes to seed in it's triumphant colourful spike. New subscriber gained 🙂 Thanks from Jazz and Gem.

Love your new garden beds and the mix of flowers and vegetables. They look perfect together and very healthy. I'm just wondering if you brought in soil for the new bed, or just the mulch on top? Did you make any other improvements to the soil?

We are just planting hardy seeds now. (Deep planted ones). We can have frost till May 24th so right now we are amending soil, planting Glads, cosmos, hollyhocks . But the great part of spring is the future!!!

Paula: A professional landscaper could not have done a better job. At least most of major work of stone placement is done and the color combinations are just about perfect. I am surprised that you have a Dahlia up so early we just have one breaking the surface. A Striking addition to your entrance that will last for years. You have been busy!! Do I detect that you have a cold? Spring is finally here!!  Bernard
