First off, great video as always – seriously, your content is dense and enjoyable; quite often it is inspiring. During the video it occurred to me that establishing and co-curating a mulched food forest for seniors still living in their original homes would have a number of great effects for them (no mow, fresh food, company sometimes, beauty, etc) while allowing for more space to grow. Perhaps some intrepid person can reach out to ?churches? and other sources to try to match growers up with seniors? Growers might learn a thing or two from their elders in the process 🙂

what have you actually got did you buy a field or you just got a lot of land on your home I've always wondered, i unfortunately have a concrete garden but i have got about 40 food plants and more to come I'd be happy if just insects snd birds eat all of it but hopefully they save me some, theres about 5 bird nests on my house, they do land on the plants to eat aphids, green flies and that

even though not food for you in a corner you should plant wild flowers seeds on ebay, buddleia, hydrangeas, if you had a cabbage patch youd get many cabbage whites

Hi, what are those white spots on fruit trees. Do you spray your trees with something to protect from pests?

Hello James, Maybe you can answer me this…..I have a cherry tree thats about 6 or 7 years old, the tips seem to die out every year. I was told that I need to prune it back because insects have entered through the tips. Is it ok to do summer pruning on it? does this sound like something that you have encountered? any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to try nanking cherries. Its a bush and tastes sweet/tart.

Why this was suggested to me by YouTube is odd to me. But I’m so glad it did! I’m hooked! First of your videos I’ve seen. Heading to binge watch your videos. I’m not even a gardener. But maybe one day I will. You’re pretty inspiring. You just earned another subscriber.

On your knees with hands in the 'soil' (chips) would make you forget, for sure, that you are in the city. Such a nice looking garden (paradise).

I was disappointed at the bait and switch. I wanted to see a video about fruits, and instead it was a rambling video that was a general tour of the garden. When I'm ready to see a general tour, I'll be more than happy to hear about your borage and spinach and peas and such. But when you title it A Garden Filled With Fruit, I want to see the fruit. Half the video is about other stuff.

Enjoying all your tips on gardening. I had to look up curculio to know what you were talking about . How are you keeping other insects out of your garden?

Do you eat all the food or do you sell any? Seems like you have more than you can consume 😉 I’m surprised that you can grow all this in New Jersey. You must get snow there right
