My favourite design principle is #4: Yield is theoretically unlimited and based on information. I would add also based on creativity and exploration. Finding new cool ideas that allow for more yields such as layering are great for small urban gardens like mine.

You are a great teacher James, we are in a time that we need this. Our culture, our planet, our health, our mental health need this. The world is too small and crowded, too vulnerable, we need nature. We need to apply these principles. I am proud of you. Took down notes.

I'm getting some pushback from my HOA about woodchips in my front yard which has replaced my lawn. My wife is also giving me a little grief about, because the woodchips aren't all uniform and they look a bit funky. Any tips on how to snuff out these potential fires?

Forwarding them the benefits from a scientific, environmental, spiritual, and cost point of view hasn't been convincing so far because they think I'm just a product of bias selection.

Hi James! This video was fantastic man, first one of these formats that I've seen on your channel so far. I really enjoyed all of it – the tip was great, the permaculture principles, and even the memes! I am a huge fan of Fukuoka – The One Straw Revolution is what got me hooked and into gardening. I actually just did a video on it and how it changed my life – https://youtu.be/p9tSd15L1x4 Keep up the great work. I also like your logo in the top right corner… very cool.

I find it weird that bunnys decided to eat tomato plants over all the other yummy stuff in your garden. Weird.

Ohhh James, you have come soo far in your vids. The content is richer and deeper, your enthusiasm really speakes to my 'nature' spirit. I like the idea of radishes with carrots..I have nought yet gotten a grasp of sucession planting, you know, what comes up when. I have a feeling that my this years garden is going to be banging with your guidance. I am sooo grateful that you are in our lives, and as always my friend Thank You for all that you do..
