I read somewhere that the Chinese squirt the juice out of kumquats before popping them in their mouth. This way, the entire thing is just sweet. I’ve never tried it. But, I thought I’d mention it.

Simple, easy and a very nice guy. I live in New York City and I'm potting some fruit🍐 trees🌱 in the spring. Or I'm bust'n up💣 the sidewalk💥in the middle of the night and planting a big 💩 one😝. Hope I don't get pinched by NYPD👮‍♂️ for destruction of public property.🐴

Why would fruit grown from seed taste bad? I can understand different, and maybe worse, but bad, really?

Had a pear and cherry tree when I was growing up. Pear tree created very small, hard pears that weren't very palatable. But, you'd have to waste time picking them up when they fell, or they'd ferment and make the backyard stink something crazy. The cherry tree was fantastic, though. Sister and I would climb into it and just much on cherries. We'd pick one, eat one, etc while filling up a bowl. Made several good cobblers with it. Cherries were only good for a short period of time, though. Had to get them qiuck before worms, birds and rot got them.

Mulberry confuses me. It's fruit looks like a blackberry – even its leaves look like blackbriar leaves. But its a tree. Seems like nature got mixed up.

Can you grow the fruit without spraying all the nasty chemicals to keep away pests?

Can any of these fruit trees grow in Maryland USA inside a pot? Also, would you recommend the Marumi Kumquat or the Meiwa Kumquat? (they are both classified as "round")

    Love your channel.!
Just thought I'd share. You made me laugh with your thumbnail. Its an optical illusion to my eyes. Look anywhere at the thumbnail just dont focus on you right hand. It looks lime your R-hand has six fingers.
