This video is so interesting. And the dog wandering the garden is a kind of ingredient to add the flavor. Brilliant

You should plant some fruit trees that truffles grow around because most farmers who harvest truffles have a dog or a pig to find the truffle!

I love your channel and all the videos you post! I've had challenges with a groundhog (named Phil) in my garden this year as well. Seeing how you've had the same challenges but are still focused on the positive helps me to focus on the positives in my garden as well. Thank you!

One last thing – I highly recommend checking out Charles Dowding on YouTube. He is in a different planting zone and climate, however, his vegetable planting knowledge, technique, and ‘tricks of the trade’ provide great advantages and efficiencies. He is not a wood chip guy, but he is organic, no till, and understands benefits of microbiology.

I have logged a lot of hours on Paul Gauchi, the Land Institute, read Masanobu Fukouka, Elaine Ingham, that old pervy guy Bill Mollison – all awesome. I am on eastern LI so I can relate to your planting zone/timing etc. and have been converting my 1/4 acre property into a food forest as fast as humanly possible. Very manageable due to wood chip gardening in terms of weeds, watering and very quickly improving soil microbiology and quality. Composting, tea, chickens, and permaculture woven into the property has transormed the place. worms, bees, butterflies, birds moving in fast. lots of fun and i can barely eat conventional produce and even kind of turn my nose up at store bought organic food… there is no going back.

James you are the man! I have been researching and practicing ALL of the stuff u r doing for a couple years now. The results are ridiculous. I literally feel bad for people whe I drive by their gardens infested with weeds and weak veggie plants. I have learned a LOT from u on ur channel and the positivity u

Lemons and oranges in New Jersey how are you doing that? They're not in pots they're in the ground so how can you bring them back inside in the winter?

    Jason Shoraka

    (October 17, 2019 - 9:49 pm)

Did I see you picking lemons and oranges? How do lemons and oranges grow in New Jersey I thought they only grow in Florida and Georgia Texas and California? Isn't New Jersey too cold to grow lemons in oranges?
